Using Dashboards
Governments; ISPs
This guide will show you how to customise your dashboard. You can customise your dashboards so that you can quickly see all your favourite metrics and core statistics in ConnectedHome which update in real-time, and many organisations permanently display their dashboards on monitors or NOC displays.
Creating a Dashboard
1. When you log in to ConnectedHome, select Dashboard from the top navigation.
2. Your presets are display in the Lefthand sidebar.
3. To add a chart to your dashboard, click and drag the preset onto the centre of the screen.
The chart will be blurry for some reason until you Save the Dashboard.
4. You can add multiple charts to your dashboard. To add your second chart, click and drag your preset to the right of the chart you have already added. When you click and drag your next preset, some lines will appear on the side of your chart. Drop your preset chart to the right of the first chart. So here, we would drop the second chart to the right of Good Internet Download.
You can also customise the layout of your dashboard. To move a chart to the right of your screen, click and drag your preset to the right-hand side of the chart. You will that the line changes colour and a plus sign (+) appears. You can then drop in the chart.
5. Here, we have four charts in the dashboard. By repeating step 4, we can add a chart below Good Internet Download and one below GoGo Zooom 10Gbps.
6. To save your dashboard, click Save at the bottom of the page (or below any chart presets you have left)
7. Give your dashboard a name and click Save again.
8. That's it! Your dashboard should look something like this:
Tip: Dashboards look great displayed up on large screens in operational centers!
Organisation-Wide Dashboards
Create dashboards that can be shared between your whole organisation.
Tip: Presets that are only visible to you will show a padlock icon
1. Create your chart, then click on the Presets in the tab below your chart.
2. Before you click Save, check that you have selected Visible to Organisation.
Tip: This means that anyone in your organisation can modify, delete, and / or see your dashboard.
