At this time, we are only able to accept Whitebox returns from UK users. If you’re not based in the UK, you can either give your Whitebox to a friend or dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way.

Returning your Whitebox
If you’re based in the UK, we can accept a Whitebox return from you. (We cannot accept returns from any other countries at this time.) We will then remove your details from our system.

Giving your Whitebox to a friend
You can give your Whitebox to a friend or colleague, so they can measure their broadband performance with a ConnectedHome account of their own.
Donate your existing ConnectedHome account to your friend
You can donate your existing ConnectedHome account to a friend or someone trust.
All you need to do is log into your ConnectedHome dashboard and change your email address and personal details to your friend’s. Afterwards you should tell them to change the password on their account. They will also need to agree to our end user licence agreement (EULA), if they haven’t already.
Finally, your friend will need to contact us and tell us the internet service provider (ISP) and package they are using, so we can update the account. Ask them to email: community@samknows.com.
Note: we only recommend you donate your account to someone you trust. You must also accept that you will no longer have access to ConnectedHome and your Whitebox test history.
Your friend creates a new ConnectedHome account
Please ask your friend to email us his/her details (email address, first name and last name, their ISP, and package) and plus your Whitebox MAC address (found on the bottom of your Whitebox) to community@samknows.com.
We will update our system and your friend will then have his/her own login details to ConnectedHome.
Disposing of your Whitebox
If you can’t return your Whitebox and don’t want to give it to a friend, then we recommend that you dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way.
Before you dispose of your Whitebox, please email us at community@samknows.com.
Note: we do NOT advise trying to sell the Whitebox to anyone, so please don’t do this! We advise you to read our Terms & Conditions for further information.

The success of our national broadband projects can be measured by the amount of valid data provided to create the reports listed below. This data is captured and provided by volunteers like you. By keeping your Whitebox connected for as long as possible you allow your Regulator to paint an accurate picture of the internet performance in the country.
